Side Pressure — Pronated Grip

Coaching Tips

  • Set resistance at arm wrestling table height
  • Use body weight to assist the press

Common Mistakes

  • Defaulting to a supinated grip out of habit and skipping this pronated variation, leaving a real gap if your side pressure game leans on a top roll
  • Pressing straight down instead of the table-height lateral angle side pressure actually uses
