Riser Lift on the Table with Weight
Riser lifts done with the forearm resting on the table and a weight attached closely mimic a live top-roll position, rather than training the rising motion in an isolated, non-table setup.

How to Do It
- 1Rest your elbow on the table with the riser attached to a weight
- 2Raise your knuckles and thumb upward
- 3Lower with control
Sets & Reps
3-4 sets · 8-12 reps
Coaching Tips
- •Keep the elbow anchored on the table throughout
- •Movement is toward the thumb (radial) side
Common Mistakes
- ✕Using a table surface at a different height than a real armwrestling table, changing the leverage away from a realistic position
- ✕Letting the elbow lift off the table during the lift instead of keeping it fixed the way a real match requires
