Pronation Curls with Resistance Band Handle

Pronation curls with a resistance-band handle attachment isolate the same rotational movement as a cable pronation curl, using a compact handle that makes the rotation easier to control than a plain band loop.

Muscles Worked

Pronator teres, pronator quadratus

Equipment

Resistance band

How to Do It

  1. 1Grip the handle at one end of the band
  2. 2Curl and rotate into pronation together
  3. 3Reset slowly under tension

Sets & Reps

3-4 sets · 10-15 reps

Coaching Tips

  • Grip near the end of the handle for a longer lever
  • Keep a slow, controlled tempo throughout

Common Mistakes

  • Gripping the handle too far from its center, adding an uneven torque that isn't part of the intended movement
  • Rotating too fast to make up for the band's lighter resistance instead of controlling the tempo
